Favorite Story About Yourself:
I am a rescue. Mommy and Daddy received a call from my former owner to come pick me up. She didn't have much to say about me that was nice, except that I was a handsome dog. She said I bit, didn't like men, children or other dogs, that I wouldn't walk nicely, didn't like being bathed or groomed ... she just didn't like me. Mommy and Daddy came and brought me home with them. I was very well behaved. The first thing they did was give me a bath. I was no problem at all. I didn't have any coat as I had been shaved, but I did have a Westie head! They clipped my nails, no problem. My favorite person was my Daddy. I was always really close to him by his feet. Daddy got more and more attached to me. One day Mommy and Daddy were at a store talking to a lady about rescue and Daddy told her about me. The lady said, "If he is such a nice dog, why aren't you keeping him?" Daddy said 'My wife won't let me." Mommy was so surprised that he had said that ... she didn't realize just how much Daddy loved me! Mommy said "If you love him that much of course he can stay with us forever" And I did!
Greatest Achievement (Personal or Professional):
I didn't like the bedroom. At night I would run to my crate. Mommy and Daddy felt bad because both Lily and Sir William, my sister & brother, sleep on the bed. One night they made me sleep on the floor in the bedroom with them. I slept as close to the door as I could. Second night same thing ... third night I was first in the bedroom, but I would only lay on the floor. Mommy and daddy tried me on the bed several times, but I would jump off. I was so scared. Mommy e-mailed the lady who had owned me and asked about the bed ... seemed that her daughter and husband had beat me one time for jumping up onto their bed. Now Mommy & Daddy understood. Finally in December last year, Mommy and Daddy tried again ... and I stayed and I sleep there every night now ... it only took 9 months, but I did it!
Another one of my greatest achievements is sweet-woofing Thistle into being my sweetheart! AND I get to meet her at her house in August ... I can barely wait! I'm counting the days until I see you sweetheart!
Best Trick You Ever Played On Your Human:
I grab my tire and run around with it over my nose and I don't think anyone can see me..
