Name: Smedley

Date of Birth:  No one is really sure, I have been called anywhere from 5 to 12 years old.  Personally I think I am 5.

Breed:  I am a Curly Cairn.  (I am pretty sure my Cairn mom partied with a toy poodle, but she claims she can't remember)

Location:  Lansdale, PA

Human Pet:  Make that my SLAVE!!!  I live with Ann and the MacNMe terriers.

Favorite Toy or Hobby:

EATING!  And COUCH snuggling!  And begging for MORE!

Human Peeve:

Not enough food!  I am not a chubby boy!  I would be BIG if I ever got enough to eat!!!

Favorite Story About Yourself:

I am blind, so when I first came to live with my mom, I had no chance to run and play.  But one weekend when she took me with my brothers to an agility trial, I got loose.  I ran in circles and jumped around and barked and had so much fun.  There were no trees to run into, so I could play as hard as I wanted to. And, I was hard to catch. Made them all run to get me!  Yippee!!

Greatest Achievement (Personal or Professional):

I have learned to go up and down stairs, jump up on the couch, and get into my brothers crates and hide when the food is coming so I can eat theirs.  Just doing the normal dog things is big for a little blind guy, and I am really good at almost everything.

Best Trick You Ever Played On Your Human:

I am pretty straightforward, not very tricky.  But when my mom sits on the toilet to pee, if I can, I run in and lift my leg and pee on the toilet (or her leg) too.

This is me when I was found at the Maine Humane Society by the Col. Potter folks.  Aren't I cute?  But, what am I?  They decided I was mostly a cairn.

Can you believe I weighed 27 lbs?  Now I am down to 14!

This is me after I got my very first haircut. I wiggled a lot, so Mom had to be very careful!

This photo is blurry because I was running so fast in
the leaves!  Being blind does not slow me down much!

My most embarrassing moment - this haircut!!!

This is me and some of my brothers last summer when we stayed at our Auntie Kay's.

This is me with another of my Mom's
attempted haircuts.

This is my current haircut, getting better, huh?  I love to sit on my chair and listen to TV.
